CVSFA is a Tri-Cities based Sport Fishing club. The Chesapeake Bay, the Blue Water off the Virginia Coast, the James river, local Lakes and the mountains of the Shenandoah are all well known to our members. The CVSFA features club events and tournaments, charity events like Wish-A-Fish and monthly meetings featuring guest speakers and local experts. We also feature an active message board for all the latest reports and information about Sport Fishing in Virginia.

The main focus of CVSFA is for every member to become better and safer anglers, and to make every minute you spend on the water a more productive and enjoyable experience. We hope to accomplish this by sharing information and experience, whether it's a safety tip, a fishing technique, or a location that is currently holding fish. We can all learn something from each other. We sponsor a Club-oriented Kid’s fishing event where every child receives a trophy and comes out a winner. We also support the Tidewater-based Wish-a-Fish program as well as the Catchin’ for Kids Club Challenge. Our goal is to be active in the fishing community and promote fishing as a family event and make it fun for everyone involved.

CVSFA is all about friendship, there is network of members on the water each weekend in contact with each other. What a good feeling, knowing you have trusted friends on the water with you who will give you the details you need to catch fish, stay clear of danger or just lend a helping hand when you need it.

Club meetings are held the first Monday of each month. Our meeting place is Roma's Restaurant in 325 East Williamsburg Rd. in Sandston, VA. Everyone is welcome to attend.
